Make Up Policy:

• Forgotten lessons will not be made up or rescheduled. 
• Lessons will not be made up due to family vacations, birthday parties, school events, or routine appointments (please take your lesson time into consideration when scheduling dentist, doctor’s or other routine appointments)
• If you are unable to make a lesson, please give at least 48 hours notice except in the case of acute illness or family emergency.
• Rescheduling a lesson can be done on a space available basis within the week of the missed lesson.  If possible try and exchange lesson times with another student. 
• One lesson per semester will be made up due to student illness.

Other Policy items:

• Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your scheduled lesson time and have your violin or cello ready before coming into the studio. 
• In case of extreme weather, public school closures will be followed. 
• Students are encouraged to observe either the lesson before theirs or the lesson after their own. 
• Participation in school music programs is highly encouraged. 
• Students and their families are encouraged to attend live music performances.  This is an important part of a well rounded music education!
